This painting depicts a serene Louisiana swamp scene which features one large, magestic cypress tree in the foreground along with several cypress knees in the green murky water.

I am originally from Louisiana, but as they say...I got to Texas as fast as I could. Two of my aunts are artists and their beautiful paintings have been an inspiration to me. I have attended classes at the Art Institute of Houston, but am mostly a self-taught artist. Hope that you enjoy my work!
