You know that it is time for Mardi Gras in New Orleans when the balconies are decorated with brightly colored beads. NOLA is the name on the street sign which stands for New Orleans Louisiana. The painting is slanted as might be viewed by a visitor who has had a little too much fun in the French Quarter!
I am originally from Louisiana, but as they say...I got to Texas as fast as I could. Two of my aunts are artists and their beautiful paintings have been an inspiration to me. I have attended classes at the Art Institute of Houston, but am mostly a self-taught artist. Hope that you enjoy my work!
